Today, I’m sharing my Top 3 Walt Disney World Resorts. A while back I shared my personal ranking of every Walt Disney World Resort, and now I want to share my top 3 favorites across the property. So let’s get into it!

Number 3: Disney’s Pop Century Resort

This is a value resort located on the Skyliner route and is my go-to resort for a quick trip. The theming at this resort is amazing and I love the larger-than-life decorations. The Skyliner access bumps this resort way out of the “value” category for me because you have quick access to two parks without having to wait for the buses. In my experience, the Skyliner moves MUCH faster than the buses. Plus there is nothing quite like seeing the Disney property from up in the sky.

Number 2: Disney’s Riviera Resort

Walt Disney World’s newest resort has quickly taken hold of my heart. I find myself at this resort almost as much as the parks. This is such a peaceful and elegant resort with all the magic touches you expect from Disney. Plus you’re right on the Skyliner route with easy access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. This resort is also home to my favorite meal, Tomato Bisque with Parmesan Fries and Iced Lavender Tea Lemonade. As a deluxe DVC resort, this has a higher price tag but is so worth it. 

Number 1: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

If you know me at all this is no shock at all, haha. This resort has held a special place in my heart since my very first Disney trip. We stayed here on our first family Disney trip and made the most magical memories. When I became a Cast Member years later, this resort was my home as a lifeguard. I am highly biased, but there is something special about this resort that no other has. Getting to step out on your personal balcony and see savanna animals is something you can’t find at any other resort. DAKL has two main buildings, Jambo House and Kidani Village. Each location has spectacular pools and out-of-this-world dining that you do not want to miss. Whether or not you’re staying at this resort, you will want to make a reservation to dine at Boma and Sanaa – two of the best dining options in all of Walt Disney World.
