Do you have Cricut? Have you thought about getting a Cricut? Do you wish you knew more about Cricut before dropping that money on a machine? Well, let’s dive into it!
Machines
I am completely in love with my Cricut machine. I have the Cricut Explore Air 2. I think this is a great machine for a crafty of any level. Whether you’re wanting to get into the Cricut game for personal projects or starting a small business, I think the Explore Air 2 is a great place to start.
Another favorite I recommend is the Cricut Joy. This is ideal for smaller projects, especially card making. If you’re crafting on the go, I think this is definitely a machine you need because it is much more compact and easier to transport than the bigger machines.

Tools & Accessories
One of the best things about Cricut is they have a tool and accessories for practically any crafting need you may have. Below are my absolute must-haves and favorites that make the crafting life so much easier:
Basic Tool Set – You should go ahead and grab this when you get your machine because it has everything you need to start.
Mat Variety Packs – If you know you’re going to work with a variety of mediums and sizes, you’ll want all 3 types of mats.
Vinyl Samplers – Personally, I love to get the vinyl samplers so I can test out different colors and types of vinyl before buying a full roll.
Fine Point Pens – These pens are amazing! They write beautifully with the machine.
Brightpad – This is a GAME CHANGER! Weeding is the worst part of making vinyl and sometimes it can be difficult to see all the intricate parts, especially if you’re working with white vinyl. This lit mat is wonderful and you’ll wonder how you ever crafted before it. Unfortunately, since this is such an amazing product it is currently out of stock, BUT you can sign up for restock notifications.
Easy Press – If you’re planning to work with HTV (iron-on vinyl), you’ll definitely want to grab one of these heat presses.
Starting today through 6/1, Cricut is launching their Memorial Day Sale featuring 30% off select items! Cricut is also offering Free Economy Shipping on orders $99+ with code “MAYSHIP” through 5/31.
